About the Foundation
Named for Al-Kawthar — the River of Abundance
Kautsar — from Surah Al-Kawthar — means the river of abundance granted by Allah to His Prophet ﷺ. Mandiri, in the Indonesian language, means independent and self-reliant. Together, they name a vision: communities that flourish through divine blessing and their own empowered hands.
Established to serve communities across Indonesia, the United States, and beyond, the foundation works at the intersection of education, social welfare, and spiritual development — nurturing a generation that is knowledgeable, healthy, independent, and noble.

A strong community begins with strong individuals. The Prophet ﷺ said, 'A strong believer is better and more beloved to Allah than a weak believer.' Our physical training programs build discipline, character, and resilience alongside physical capability.

Quran Recitation
The Quran is the living word of Allah — a guide, a healing, and a mercy. Our Quran programs teach correct recitation (tajweed), memorization (hifz), and the understanding of its meanings, connecting hearts to the divine book across all ages.
